Through Their Eyes
 |
The
Strom Thurmond Institute, the History Department and the Clemson Communication Center have initiated an exciting project to document, through video taped oral histories, the development of Clemson University. Entitled "Through Their Eyes," the project team talks about critical points in Clemson history with the people who participated in those events. The idea was developed by Dr. Clint Whitehurst, professor emeritus and Senior Fellow of the Strom Thurmond Institute. Professor Don McKale is coordinating the discussion portions of the project. The First Series tape includes interviews of: Wallace Trevillian, Walter Cox, Kenneth Vickery, Robert Edwards, Hugh Macaulay. The Second Series tape includes interviews of: Becky Campbell, Harry Durham, Tee Senn, Bud Webb and Tilla Williamon. The video tapes will be available for viewing through the Cooper Library. | Description: |
The flight deck of a large passenger plane is the stuff of movies; heroic pilots in all kinds of perilous situations. With all due credit to the pilots, experiences in the cabin are by far the most interesting. This is the world of the passengers--from every walk of life--and the flight attendants who serve their needs, allay their fears, and ultimately are responsible for their safety in time of emergency. |
